This Thursday, December 08, 2022, took place at the Chancellery in Abuja, a ceremony organized by the Embassy and the Association of Ivorians in ECOWAS and in International Organizations in Nigeria (AMICOIN), in tribute to Mrs. Amelie Sylviane Kone, Director of Human Resources of the ECOWAS Commission and Mr. Daniel Bodo Lago, Director of Legal Affairs of the ECOWAS Commission, on the occasion of their retirement.
At the same time, a welcome was extended to the new members of the Amicale.
To this end, the Ambassador delivered a speech in which he praised the exceptional professional and human qualities of Mrs. Amelie Sylviane Kone and Mr. Daniel Bodo Lago. He expressed his gratitude to them for having hoisted the colors of Côte d'Ivoire high within ECOWAS, throughout their rich career.
To the newly admitted members of AMICOIN, he welcomed them and offered them his warm congratulations on their admission to ECOWAS.
Then, while commending the excellent relations between the Embassy and AMICOIN, he urged its members to be worthy ambassadors of Côte d'Ivoire wherever they are and to continue to cultivate between and around them, the values of excellence, peace, cohesion, union, discipline and work dear to Côte d'Ivoire.
Finally, the two illustrious members of AMICOIN admitted to exercising their right to retirement received from the hands of Ambassador TRAORE Kalilou, diplomas of honor in recognition of their contribution to the influence of our country within ECOWAS and Nigeria.
