Courtesy visit of H.E.M. TRAORE Kalilou to H.E.M. N’DO Piabe Firmin Grégoire, Ambassador of Burkina Faso.

On Wednesday 03 March 2021, the Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Nigeria, H.E.M. TRAORE Kalilou paid a courtesy visit to H.E.N’DO Piabe Firmin Grégoire, Ambassador of Burkina Faso.
Following the presentation of his Letters of Credence and the move of the Chancellery to its new premises, Ambassador TRAORE Kalilou insisted on this visit (postponed due to COVID-19) to comply with diplomatic tradition but also to testify to his brotherhood and his friendship to Ambassador N'DO Piabe.
During this meeting, the Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire and his Burkinabe counterpart recalled the fraternal and secular ties that exist between the two countries.
They also praised the quality of the dynamic and multifaceted bilateral cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso, in particular through the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (TAC), to the elaboration of which they, all two, taken part ten years ago.
The two diplomats welcomed the decisions taken at the bilateral level as well as within ECOWAS and UEMOA in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed, as far as they are concerned, their reciprocal commitment to strengthening Ivorian -Burkinabe relations.
