His Excellency TRAORE Kalilou carried out, on February 26, 2020, courtesy visits to the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Nigeria, the Ambassador of Cameroon, His Excellency Mr. Salaheddine Abbas Ibrahim and the Chairman of the Committee Permanent Representatives of ECOWAS to ECOWAS, the Ambassador of Niger, His Excellency Alat MOGASKIA.

The Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire who first visited the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps. He presented his civilities to him and asked for his support for the success of its mission and its integration within the Diplomatic community.

Appreciating this approach, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps assured his availability accompanied by His Excellency TRAORE Kalilou and give him the benefit of his diplomatic experience in Nigeria where he is in exercise for at least ten years.

Visit to the Chairman of the Permanent Representatives Committee of ECOWAS with ECOWAS follows the same approach than the previous one. The two Ambassadors seized the opportunity to discuss major issues at ECOWAS level, namely the Single Currency, the fight against terrorism and the closure of borders of Nigeria with its neighbors.

In addition, they mentioned, to welcome the excellent relations between Côte d'Ivoire and Niger, to the strengthening of which the Ivorian and Nigerian ambassadors have promised to work.
